As a member you are entitled to use all the Club’s facilities.

In theory we are open all day and court availability is subject to the summary timetable on the home page. Keys to our entrance and the clubhouse are available from our treasurer, in return for a small deposit. This means you can let yourself in at any time. However, you need to consider that the main car park may not open until after 8am and will often be closed in the evening by the ‘Post and Wicket’ or by one of the other sports clubs when they finish. In addition, our floodlights only operate until 11pm at night.

No. We do not operate a booking system at the moment, although this is constantly under review. We operate on a turn up and play basis. However, one court is reserved at all times for our coaches. This is court 3. If all five courts are in use and the coaches turn up for a lesson, the players on court 3 will need to step aside and wait for a different court to become free. Club competitions, league tennis and club social tennis will also take priority. We will always notify members when a club competition is taking place. During the months of April to July league tennis is played on a Monday and Tuesday evening with all 5 courts reserved from 6pm. Between October and March our teams play in the NSTL winter league on a Sunday morning and our two Vets teams play on a Wednesday morning. It is likely that at least two if not all five courts will, be in use when league matches are being played. Fixtures for all teams in the summer and winter are on the noticeboard in the clubhouse. In addition, all 5 courts are reserved for the following: Men’s night on a Monday between July and March from 6pm to 8pm. Ladies night on a Tuesday between July and March from 6pm to 8pm. Social tennis between 6pm and 8pm on a Wednesday and Saturdays between 1pm and 3pm. Please refer to our calendar summary on the home page.
