We have a number of adult teams competing through the Summer and Winter within the North Somerset Tennis League.

As a member you are entitled to use all the Club’s facilities.
We are always open. As a member you can get a key (leaving a small deposit) form our Treasurer. You can let yourself in to the Club at any time.
Wedmore Tennis Club Head Coach.
Shaun Carrol has been coaching for 30 years having played professionally before taking up his first coaching job in Wimbledon. After running a successful club program, he moved to Somerset to take up the position of Head Coach at Blackbrook Tennis Centre.
He is an LTA Level 4 performance coach with LTA accredited plus membership and have been both a previous Junior Davis Cup Coach and Somerset County Captain for 15 years. He has been Coach to 10 national champions, 6 junior Wimbledon players and 10 junior grand slam players and various county champions.
Wedmore Tennis Club Assistant Coach.
James has been involved in tennis since the age of 3, having his first coaching lessons with Shaun Carroll. Identified nationally as a junior high-performance player, he achieved many top national rankings throughout junior and senior level.
Having always lived locally, he came through the local schools of Mark and Hugh Sexeys before deciding to take up tennis as a performance sport.
He has been coaching for 5 years with experience of all levels. He is a level 3 accredited coach and is currently studying an Open University Degree in Sports, Science and Coaching. He currently coaches some of the best juniors in the county, as well as running successful mini tennis squads.
He is currently the county U18 Assistant coach and Taunton School assistant coach. He also has significant experience in stringing, regripping and grommet strip replacement as he has been doing this since the age of 12 for himself, competition and club players.
We don’t provide child care at the Club. You children need to be supervised at all times.
If you contact the Membership Team they can help you.
Most of the time you’ll find a spare court, however, when there are competitions taking place priority will be with the competitors. A list of competitions are available on our calendar.
Visitors fees: £3 per individual and £5 for couples.
Visitors may use the facilities on three occasions before joining as full members.
